The addition of Shamrock Natural Pozzolan to a concrete mix will
increase the workability of the concrete.
Pozzolan is much lighter than cement. When the same weight of
Pozzolan replaces the same weight of cement, the volume of powder
and therefore the cementitious paste is greater, thus allowing for more
effective coating of the aggregate.

Another advantage of adding Pozzolan for workability is that because
of the increase in paste and a unique particle shape, cohesion within
the mix is increased. This significantly reduces the risk of segregation
within the concrete both under vibration and in pumping.
